Terms
These development terms describe the current evaluation service. They are not commercial terms. The contracting legal entity, monitored support channel, governing law, payment/refund policy, and production service commitments must be approved and published before live sales.
Current service
Simple Jacks Members lets authenticated users sign in once for Chat, the Law Library, and the member desk, save Tax News reading, and select desk preferences. Membership is bought through Clerk Billing. While this is a development service, checkout runs on Clerk’s development gateway: only test cards are accepted, and they do not create a real charge or a commercial subscription.
No tax, legal, or investment advice
Simple Jacks content and tools are general information and research aids. They do not calculate or file your taxes and are not tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice. Verify source material and consult a qualified professional for decisions about your circumstances.
Your account
Keep your sign-in methods secure, provide accurate information, and use only an account you are authorized to control. You may sign out without removing data or permanently delete the account through the Account screen, subject to the retention described in the Privacy notice.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, probe or bypass access controls, interfere with other users, upload unlawful material, automate abusive traffic, or use the service to violate another person’s rights. Access may be limited to protect the service or investigate misuse.
Content and availability
The development service may change, pause, or lose data and is provided without a production availability commitment. Simple Jacks and its licensors retain rights in the service and original content; third-party sources keep their own rights. Links and source citations do not transfer ownership.
Production boundary
No live payment account, refund promise, renewal term, tax collection setting, customer-support SLA, warranty allocation, liability cap, dispute process, or governing-law clause is established by this page. Those items are explicit blockers to commercial launch, not implied defaults.
